Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed some lovely weather and time with your family over the weekend. Last night, Luke and I were reflecting on what a wonderful Easter we had. It’s almost hard to describe, but it was just a very low-stress, joyful day celebrating our Savior and spending time together as a family. It was also our last weekend as a family of three (baby boy will be here by the weekend!!), so it was just a really special time. I’m 39 weeks pregnant, moving slow, and very much about to pop, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying every minute with my boys!
We cooked breakfast together (including our homemade lattes. Bodie loves them which is crazy… he’s only 2.5 haha. Don’t worry, we limit how many sips he has), watched church and worshipped together as a family, napped, went on a train hunt and recovered the *smashed* coins the boys had put down, had an egg hunt, played outside, ate a yummy Easter dinner, and then relaxed while watching tv in bed. Oh, and the weather could not have been more perfect… sunny and 75. Honestly, it was just a really sweet time for our family and will be a day/weekend I won’t easily forget. I wanted to add a couple of snaps on here to document.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
1 Peter 1:3
Hope your week is off to a great start. Thanks for stopping by. xoxo.
