I’m probably not alone when I say I did a fair amount of online shopping in 2020… some out of preference and some out of necessity. Looking back, I’m rounding up some of my favorite Amazon purchases from 2020, as well as a few others. This is a random post complete with a couple of splurges and lots of bargain buys. Many of these items were some of the “most shopped” by my readers as well. Because Amazon is really just it’s own world, I’m going to separate those out… not only do I link to Amazon a lot, I order from Amazon a lot too haha. Let’s get to it.
PS: I’ve updated the “Shop” tab on my main menu to include a direct link to my Amazon Storefront. I’m going to work at keeping it updated. Data shows that y’all love shopping Amazon too and this storefront is a great way for me to keep things categorized for y’all for easy access.
Favorite Amazon Purchases of 2020:
1. Coverup
I shared this coverup back in the summer and y’all loved it too. I wore it bunches. It’s perfectly oversized while still having some detailed structure. It definitely reminds me of Free People and is available in lots of different colors.
2. Wood Step Stool
This has been a fantastic addition to Bodie’s bathroom. I love that it’s real wood and has two height options. This is something that is used multiple times a day and has been well worth the $35.
3. Pen Set
I have loved Le Pen for several years now. They’re my favorite for using in my planner or writing notes. This set is wonderful with such a wide variety of colors.
4. Oversized Sunnies
These sunglasses are definitely big, but they’re a great designer dupe and are just so fun!
5. Toddler Rain Boots
This may be the best purchase of them all. If you’ve been around for awhile (and especially if you follow me on Instagram), you’ll know that my toddler is obsessed with his blue boots. We’re on our second pair. These work for both boys and girls and have lots of color options.
6. Sweater Shaver
This is probably the most satisfying Amazon purchase I made and for sure Luke’s favorite haha. It legitimately has revitalized several of my sweaters that were super pilled and made Luke’s three year old Patagonia jacket look almost brand new!
7. Headbands
I don’t want the headband trend to ever go away. Amazon has great options and so many of them give you a designer look for less. These pearl and jewel ones are my favorites!
8. Storage Bins
Did you get into organizing in 2020? I purchased a few packs of these bins for our laundry room and also my closet.
9. Shower Cap
I never knew what I missing in life until I started using a shower cap haha. Now, I can’t be without it. It helps maintain your hair so much on days you aren’t planning to wash. This one is incredible quality… I have had mine since March, use it multiple times a week, and it still looks new. The prints by this brand are so fun!
10. Leggings
I ordered more of these leggings this year in a few prints and have not been disappointed. My favorite thing? They work in your true size even throughout pregnancy! Here is the 7/8 length (I have a few pairs of these as well).
12. Peel-and-Stick Wallpaper
We used this wallpaper when we redid our laundry room (see that post here: Laundry Room Refresh). It made such an impact, has held up well, and was easy to apply. I say that even though Luke was really the one to apply it ha.
13. Slippers
I saw a lot of people recommend these slippers on social media so I gave them a shot myself. For the price, they’re great. Not the highest quality ever, by any means, but they’re cute and comfy and a great “look for less” option if you don’t want to pay for Ugg.
14. Headband Organizer
All those headbands I’ve ordered over the past couple of years needed a storage solution… this organizer has been great. I’ve got two of them now.
15. Layering Necklaces
For the price, this is a great pack of three gold layering necklaces. I like that they’re all different lengths which makes the layering process a little more user friendly and quick.
Seven (non-Amazon) Favorite Purchases of 2020:
1. Black Lug Boots
I’ve worn these boots all winter long. They are super comfortable and just under $30. This is the second pair of boots I’ve had by this brand and have been impressed with each pair. Looks like they’re about to sell out but, again, I’ve had great experiences with this brand so, if you see something you like by them, I wouldn’t hesitate to try them out.
2. P448 Sneakers
This brand is more of a splurge for sneakers, but not as much so as Golden Goose. I ended up with a low-top and high-top option this year and can honestly say that they were both my most worn shoes. I’m very into wearing sneakers with everything. My favorites are currently over 50% off here. My high top style only has a few left in stock, but these and these are similar print options. I’ll link some other colors/prints below in the same styles. They’re soooo comfortable! Nordstrom Rack, Bloomingdales, and Nordstrom generally all always have some sale going on certain styles so keep your eyes peeled if none of these options do it for ya.
3. Espresso Machine
This is a total splurge, but we love coffee in this house and we are home all the time these days, months, this past year and will be for the forseeable future with baby number two coming in April. We honestly stalked this machine since back in March and then, when it finally went on a slight sale, we pulled the trigger back in December. Luke is my little barista and a lot better at whipping up drinks than I am. I really need to practice haha.
4. Leopard Dress
This dress is great for less than $25. It can work for fall, winter, and spring, so it’s very versatile in my opinion. It also seriously gives off designer vibes (this Ganni one (no longer available) is near identical).
5. Leopard Rug
I did a rug refresh in our den back in September and couldn’t be more pleased with the result. I have a cream cowhide layered on top and it’s the perfect touch. The price for this rug is incredible. I have the 8×10.
6. Distressed Jeans
These jeans were a great buy and I can’t wait to be able to wear mine again after baby. They were a popular buy from y’all too and for good reason… you can’t beat the price for the fit and the wash options.
7. Original Art
So my mom actually purchased these for me, but I’m including them anyway. We got new bedroom art from Chelsea McShane. Her pieces are beautiful and pretty affordable considering how expensive art can be. Follow her on Instagram because she posts new originals for sale each day… that’s where ours came from!
Did you have any favorite Amazon purchases (and beyond) of 2020? xoxo.
