Merry Christmas Eve!! Everything is so much more grand this year with celebrating “Baby’s First Christmas” and my sentiment is real. As I have my own baby boy this year and think about the true meaning of Christmas, I’m even more blown away by a God that would send his son to this earth to save us all. My favorite Christmas song is “Oh Holy Night” and I’ve listened to it with new ears and a different perspective this season. What incredible love our Heavenly Father has for us!
We are doing Christmas down in Dothan with my parents this year and it’s so special that Bodie will get to hear his Ram (my dad) preach at Christmas Eve service for his first Christmas. Bodie also has quite a few gifts being delivered from the grandparents and Santa… it’s all just so sweet and so fun. I know he won’t remember any of this, but we will and our hearts are so full.
I wanted to share some of our family photos that we took a few weeks ago with Gowder’s Photography. It was freezing cold and super dreary the day we had this shoot so I was a little nervous about how they would turn out, but I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. Sarah did such an amazing job capturing all of our joy and I’ll cherish these images forever. Is it acceptable to have “Christmasish” photos out around the house all year round? I mean can you even handle that little, reindeer Bodie?
Wherever you’re celebrating and whoever you’re with, I wish you the Merriest Christmas and hope you are able to cherish precious time with your loved ones. xoxo.
