Hard to believe that it’s almost May. April has completely flown by… part of that for us is being in the newborn stage of life since welcoming sweet, Baby Cooper into the world on April 9. It’s been a sweet few weeks and I’ve been soaking up all the time with my boys over here. I honestly couldn’t love being a “boy mom” more and am excited for all the wonderful memories to come with these little ones. Looking ahead towards Mother’s Day, I did want to share a few ideas that would work for any Mama in your life… be it your mother, grandmother, sister, or a friend. Mamas, and women in general for that matter, deserve to be spoiled and celebrated for all the hard work they do and how much they love their families day in and day out.
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas:
I’ve been dying for a bouquet from Grace Rose Farm… their Mother’s Day bundle comes with a minimum of 30 roses and a candle. They harvest their roses on the same day that they ship them out for optimal freshness. Fresh flowers are such a delight and I don’t know too many women who don’t enjoy them in the house. Bodie, if you’re reading this, send the message to Dada. This tin of popcorn flavors and snacks would hit home for anyone… think movie night on the couch with the fam with the ultimate snack bucket to go with! Speaking of couch time, this Barefoot Dreams dupe blanket is a winner and less than $40. It feels just like (if not better) than it’s $180 counterpart (I have both and can confirm). Soft, huge, and fantastic print options… grab it for the “homebody mama” and maybe one for yourself too! Does your mom love things for the home or all things blue and white? These bookends are fabulous and only $25 for the pair. I may or may not have just ordered these for myself for fear of them selling out. Eeeek.
I’m kind of obsessed with this set of Tervis Tumblers. We mainly drink out of Tervis during the day, but none of ours match… this set is lovely (available in green here and another pattern here). Coffee loving mama? This set of herringbone mugs is so chic for her morning cup of joe and is only $12 for all four! For the mama who loves to cook, I think the Always Pan is a great option. Apparently the hype is real and it really is amazing. It’s available in several colors, but the spice just speaks to me. It’s currently on sale for $30 off. Does your mom or grandmother have a special recipe that’s been in the family for a long time or one that she’s known for? This personalized recipe kitchen towel is a great gift. I love that it even copies the handwriting from the original recipe you submit. Shameless plug for any of my family members that are reading… this toaster oven is BEAUTIFUL and has amazing reviews. We use ours all the time and could use an upgrade. The classic toaster is darling as well if your mom is a foodie and you want to upgrade her morning toast game. This toaster and these mugs would be such a great gift for the lady who loves the kitchen!
Shopping for a jewelry lover? I’ve got you. These pearl hoops from Allyn are to die for (I own and love) and these gold wrapped pearl studs by Vivian Drew would go with everything! You can’t go wrong with a personalized birthstone piece from Haverhill Collection like this bracelet. This custom letter necklace comes in several options for metals, amount of initials, etc. and is a great price for the craftsmanship! If you’ve been around for a while, you know I love Mary Caroline Spano pieces and this baroque pearl bracelet would be a great heirloom piece that could be passed down.
I’ve mentioned before how high quality Tory Burch shoes are… all of mine have lasted for years and years (I got my first pair 10 years ago and still wear them today). If you want to splurge a little, these slides would be a great spring and summer staple for the trendy mama in your life. How cute would they be with this tote? I love the ribbon handles for summer… a seriously chic beach bag situation! This gingham makeup bag from TRVL Design is perfect for the traveler or the organizer. TRVL Design is such high quality while still being affordable and has the cutest prints on the market!
If your mom needs some pampering or TLC, get her this facial steamer (the reviews don’t lie, y’all) and this body scrub. She’ll feel like she had a little spa time at home which is more than welcomed after a long day. Spoil her major by snagging a pair of Roller Rabbit PJs for her and she’ll be ready to relax (pricey for pjs, but so incredibly soft and way cute). The matching mini pair is adorable too. Both are available in blue and pink options.
Finally, you can never go wrong with a framed family photo that sparks a memory and this frame is lovely. Photos are some of my most cherished items in my house… I’m so sentimental about them. This little book is a sweet way to show mom you care and remind her of how great she is. I made one similar to this for my mom one year and she said she loves to pull it out and read it if she’s having a down day to help lift her spirits.
I have just realized this is equal parts “Mother’s Day Gift Ideas” as well as “Karis’ Current Wishlist” haha. Honesty is the best policy, right? If you’re hunting down a special gift, I hope this sparked a few ideas for you. Happy Wednesday, y’all. xoxo.
