Easter is early this year and I’m so excited! As a Christian, I love this holiday because of the meaning behind it and the joy of celebrating our risen Savior. On the more frivolous side, I just love all of the spring blooms, pastel colors, cute bunny things, egg hunts, and making a fun basket for Bodie. When I was little, my mom would make me the best Easter baskets and I loved it. She honestly made every holiday so much and I’m aiming to do the same for Bodie and Baby Brother.
In case you’re already thinking about what to fill a basket with for your baby or tot or are on the hunt for some cute, seasonal jammies, I’m here to share a few Easter ideas for little ones. I’ve rounded up some things that work for both little boys and girls, as well as babies and toddlers.
Also, I used some of these darling Easter stickers from Bright Star Kids to create cute buckets for our family. My due date for baby boy is April 11, exactly one week after Easter, so I’m going to make a small basket for Bodie to give to baby brother when he arrives (which could be in time for Easter or a little late… only the Lord knows). Bright Star makes the best labels for babies, kids, and even adults, and they always do seasonal/holiday products as well. I’ve got a fun giveaway going on with them right now on my Instagram page and you can enter to win a pack of personalized Easter stickers for your little one (or any other family member you may do a bucket for) here: Bright Star x @karisrae Easter Giveaway.
Bodie was 18 months last year at Easter… this post shares a look at how I filled his basket (the bunny ear tie on pictured above) if you want a little more inspiration.
Have you started thinking about Easter yet? Our plans are kind of up in the air as it’s right around the time our family will be growing, but I’m envisioning worshipping our Savior with our church family (probably via zoom again this year given the timing/circumstances), lunch on a pretty tablescape that I hopefully have time energy to pull off, and some time playing in the yard enjoying a pretty day (fingers crossed).
I’m planning to share a look at what I envision our Easter table to look like on here within the next week or so, but our house renovations may shake all that up haha. Stay tuned!
Hope you enjoyed these Easter Ideas for Little Ones. Thanks for “hopping” by. xoxo.
