[…] you need a little more Valentine’s Day Inspo for your kiddos, here’s a post from last year of the Valentines I did for Bodie’s Mother’s Day Out class as well as […]
I personally have always loved Valentine’s Day because I love hearts, flowers, chocolate, cheesy slogan, and girly colors… it’s all right up my alley ha. I also think the treats, games, and activities that come out each year for kiddos are adorable. I was beyond excited that this year I am able to make classroom Valentines for Bodie’s MDO class. I know they’re only two-year olds, but I just couldn’t help myself and got all the supplies at the beginning of January. Today, I’m sharing a look at what I did for Bodie’s class and how I put together these Valentine’s Day Treats for Little Ones. On Instagram stories, I uploaded a few videos where I show a bit more detail. I’ve saved it to the Valentine’s Day highlight if you want to take a look.
Bodie is very into trucks, as many of you will know if you follow me over on Instagram, and so I went with a truck them for these little valentines. I got his truck tags from Hunny Bee Paperie and she has so many darling designs. Shipping was super fast and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out. All of the contents in each little bag came from Target and the raffia ribbon came from Amazon (there are a ton of colors to choose from). Sticking with his theme, I included some monster truck erasers and little digger trucks (dollar spot section). I also added in a spikey, light up ball, Valentine stickers, Valentine goldfish, and Valentine fruit snacks to each bag.
Here’s a peak at the little Valentine bucket I am putting together for Bodie. I found almost all of it in the dollar section at Target, so I can’t link much of it, but just peruse those aisles if you’re in the store and you’ll find lots of fun treats for your little one no matter their age. I snagged the “Love You” bucket from Target as well for only $4. I order most of his books from Amazon.
Have you made Valentine’s Day treat bags for little ones before? I had so much fun putting these together. xoxo.
