When I took a poll on social media a couple of weeks ago, it was almost the total majority that said they loved looking at gift guides and personal wishlists. I am in full agreement… I always love browsing them as well. Today, I thought I would kick off my gift guides by sharing my personal (and totally frivolous) holiday wishlist. These are all things that I have been eyeing for myself, but haven’t pulled the trigger on. I have no problem admitting that these are all just things and, as lovely and fun as things are, they are frivolous in the grand scheme of life (especially in 2020). More on that to come. For now, enjoy browsing my personal holiday wishlist.
One: I love this set of four travel bags. They are so girly and all fit together. Perfect to stay organized while at home or on-the-go. I haven’t updated cosmetic bags in many years, so it’s about time for a new set! This set is available here, here, and here, but Neiman’s has the best price (although there are only two left).
Two: How fun is this monogram phone case? I just got a new phone, so I’m in the market for a new case. I love the look of the tortoise and personalization. Tons of cute options from this shop.
Three: This dried larkspur bouquet is beautiful and would look gorgeous in this vase! I love the idea of having dried flowers in my home, as fresh ones aren’t always an option. A weird thing to have on my wishlist, but the pink just makes me so happy.
Four: I’ve been a faithful UGG customer for 10+ years. I am hoping for these Bailey Bow Minis as I am sure I will live in Uggs during the winter for the upmost comfort on my tired and potentially swollen, pregnant feet. The “caribou suede” is the perfect neutral color.
Five: I love Kendra Scott pieces and Luke has given me several items from the dichroic glass collection in the past. I love how it goes with anything. These studs are just the pair of earrings I need to complete my collection.
Six: I sent this to my mom a couple of weeks ago when it was on a major sale so fingers crossed. It’s still marked down at a good price if you know someone who might be interested in a robovac. I’ve heard amazing things about Eufy.
Seven: This honeycomb vase is stunning and matches our home decor so well. All the heart eyes for this beauty!
Eight: I’ve honestly been dying for a long Weezie Robe for the almost the entire duration of 2020. I mean, I’m home a lot and live in my robes. This one is a splurge (which is why I haven’t pulled the trigger on my own), but I know I would get lots of use out of it… especially after baby number two arrives in April. The “Gigi” print is perfection!
Nine and Ten: I would definitely wear these two stretch bracelets together often. Simple, but kind of fancy… a great combo in my opinion.
Eleven (top, bottoms): This set is kind of pricey, but it’s the kind of thing I live in. My mom and I saw one of the QVC hosts wearing it last night and I couldn’t stop talking about it haha. I think I would wear this all the time, pregnant or not!
Twelve: On my first Mother’s Day, Luke gave me the gift of ultrasound art of Bodie. Definitely want one for baby number two as well. We have our twenty-week ultrasound next week and I’m just giddy about it. This would also be such a great gift for the mom-to-be on your list.
Thirteen: I feel like I’m one of the few people that doesn’t own or hasn’t ever even asked for an Apple watch before. This year, I’m kind of intrigued. I don’t need the newest, best model, so this 3 series would be just fine. It’s already reduced to $179, but I think on November 25 it’s going to be a limited time flash deal at $119.
Fourteen: I have a bolster pillow in this antelope fabric on our bed, but I want a square one for an ottoman/bench in our bedroom under our new art.
Fifteen: Luke and I love doing puzzles together. I recognize that this print probably wouldn’t be Luke’s top choice, but this is my wishlist and I think this chinoiserie print is just dreamy. It also comes with the glue so it’s ready to be framed after completion. This would be the perfect, post-Christmas project.
Although I always have some very specific items picked out that I love, I also so enjoy getting little surprises as well. My mom has always done the best job at merging “wants” and “surprises” and it’s always been so fun! Do you like to pick everything out or be surprised?
I can’t end this post without acknowledging that being with family and giving to those in need are ways that I feel most fulfilled during the holiday season and something Luke and I enjoy doing each year. I want to set a good example for Bodie (and our little, growing baby) that while we can enjoy things, that’s not where we need to find our worth and store all of our value (Matthew 6:19-21 is such a great reminder of this). I’m planning to do a post in a couple of weeks of ways to give back and give to those in need, so stay tuned for that!
Thanks for stopping by. xoxo.
