Saturdays in the fall are for football and snacking… am I right? I’m so glad that, albeit a bit different this year, football is back and there are multiple games to watch on the weekends. Ever since I was little, especially growing up in the south, my Saturdays were always full of football. Whether we were actually at an Auburn game or just watching all the games on tv, I attribute my love of the game and a fall football Saturday to my dad… and my mom gets all the credit for always having a fantastic snack spread ready for us to munch away. Even though I’m married and have my own little family now, I still love watching football on the weekends and having plenty of snacks ready for Luke and I and/or our friends. Today, I’m sharing a super easy game day dip you can fix for yourself, your family, or if you’re having a few friends over!
Not only is this dip delicious, it’s super easy and fast to make so you can have it ready in a flash. With only four ingredients, you can whip this up even if you’re not a master chef (which I am definitely not). I think I originally saw this (or something similar) posted on Megan Stokes’ (Holy City Chic) instagram stories back in the summer… maybe? Anyway, I gave it a shot and realized how simple and yummy it is.
Easy Game Day Dip:
Ingredients:
- 1 block of cream cheese (softened)
- 1 ranch packet
- 1 can of yellow corn (drained)
- 1 can of Rotel (drained)
Directions:
- Allow cream cheese to soften at room temp for a couple of hours or soften in microwave.
- Mix softened cream cheese, corn (drained), Rotel (drained), and ranch packet together by hand or with a hand-mixer.
- Cover and chill in the fridge.
- Serve, eat, and Enjoy!
* I like to serve mine with either Ritz Toasted Chips (pictured here) or Tostitos, but the options are really endless.
Want another great and easy game day gip to try? See this post here from a couple of years ago. It’s also a go-to for me and people always devour it. Cream cheese and a ranch packet can go real far, y’all haha.
If you try this, let me know how you like it. xoxo.
