Last week, when I asked if y’all wanted to see a random Amazon haul, the answer was an overwhelming “Yes!” Today, I’m excited to share this haul of 10 recent Amazon purchases that I’m loving right now. I’m also talking more about these items on my Instagram stories and will save them to a highlight, so make sure to check that out as well (@KarisRae).
1. Fabric Storage Bins: We are in the process of redoing our laundry room (more on that to come soon… it should be finished this weekend). I needed to purchase some storage bins to go on top of our cabinets and wanted them to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. These met both of my requirements. They are available in three sizes (medium, large, and jumbo, which I would more accurately describe as small, medium, and large haha) and can also be purchased in gray. Although I haven’t had them very long, the quality seems very good and I am expecting them to hold up well.
2. Headband Holder/Organizer: I purchased one of these last year and it was a great use of $15. It was actually one of the most sold items I linked last year. With the headband trend not going anywhere anytime soon (praise), I needed another one as my collection was overflowing. This tends to go in and out of stock, so keep checking back if it’s not available when you click. Right now it’s available and on next day or two day shipping depending on where you live. View some of my favorite Amazon headbands here and here.
3. Button Front Coverup Dress: I posted this dress on Instagram the other day. I wore it on the Fourth for the first time and it was perfect for chasing a toddler around the backyard. It’s available in nine colors and just under $20. The white is pretty sheer, but you could probably get away with wearing this as a dress in one of the darker colors. It gives off major Free People vibes and will be a go-to for me for the rest of the summer.
4. Caftan: I have been wanting a good caftan for some time now, but the ones I tend to see and like are always pricey. Without having ever worn one before, I didn’t want to invest too much before trying the style out. I saw this one on Megan Stokes (Holy City Chic) last week and instantly snatched it up. She styled it in a navy print. Y’all, I’m obsessed. It’s a breathable material and is just the perfect flowing, summer piece. For under $25, if you’ve been interested in trying caftans too, this one is a great starter piece.
5. Look For Less Bangles: Chances are you’ve seen these all-weather bangles on someone before. The original ones are not cheap and run around $120 for a set. I like the look, but can think of a bunch of things that I would rather spend $100 on than that particular stack of bracelets. This little stack of five was only $12 and are so fun to wear. They have glitter inside, but just look gold when you’re wearing them. I wouldn’t peg myself as a “glitter bracelet” kind of gal, but these don’t bother me at all. They’re super lightweight, seem to hold up good if they get wet, and are at a great price point. I actually wore them to the pool the other day… “extra” I know, but so fun!
6. Layering Necklaces: I was wearing these the other day and Luke kept complimenting my necklaces, asking where they were from. That to me is the sign of a good purchase haha. This set of three layering necklaces is under $15 and they are all separate pieces (not connected) so you don’t have to wear them all together if you don’t want to. The coin/disk one is my favorite!
7. Pearl Sunglasses: When it comes to name brand sunglasses, I stick to my Ray-Bans. However, for trendier styles, I usually don’t want to pay a whole lot and tend to buy cheaper pairs. Amazon has so many great options. I just added these pearl cuties to my collection last week.
8. Toddler Rain Boots: If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen that Bodie is obsessed with these little rain boots and insists on wearing them just about any time we go outside. I will continue to buy these as his feet grow because I’ve never seen such a tiny human love a pair of shoes so much… I can’t stand the thought of taking that joy away from him when these no longer fit. They are available in several colors and are unisex. They’re just under $20 and have held up well so far (and he has legitimately worn them every single day for the past month since they came in).
9. Sensory Balls: Not much commentary on these other than they’re a great little pack of balls to add to the playroom or your child’s outdoor bin. I especially like these for toddler age because of the size… not too big and not too small.
10. Step-Stool: We got this step-stool to keep in Bodie’s bathroom so he can step up and reach the sink when he’s washing his hands and brushing teeth. It’s been great and you can’t beat the price. It also has little handles on the side so it can easily be picked up and moved around when he’s a little bigger. It’s real wood and has little anti-slip pads on the bottom.
11. Peel and Stick Wallpaper: As I mentioned earlier, we’ve been redoing our laundry room over the past week. I purchased this wallpaper to add to the back wall of our laundry room to cheer it up a little. The project became more involved than originally planned and we have redone the cabinets, painted the other three walls, updated outlets, replaced our rug, and added an entry bench. Although that sounds like a lot, it was actually a great refresh for a relatively low cost. Our laundry room is also the mud room, as it is right off the garage, so something had to change. Out of all the things we did, this paper made a huge impact and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. I will post the whole process in a couple of weeks, but for anyone wanting to refresh a laundry room, mud room, or even a small bathroom, I can’t recommend this paper enough!
Hope you enjoyed these recent Amazon purchases. If you snag any of these, let me know! Happy Friday. xoxo.
