Today, I thought I would share what I’m considering to be my summer shoe staples. Composed of mostly neutrals and a couple of glitter options, you’ll find me rotating these six pairs for the next three-four months. I’m breaking down the details and size info of each pair below.
I can’t stop wearing these sneakers. I have worn these (and the flip-flops I’m going to mention next) more than any other shoes in my closet over the past two months. They are a bit of a splurge for sneakers, but they legitimately go with anything and everything and the comfort level is just beyond. Mine are a size 38 (I’m usually an 8… occasionally an 8.5). They are available in whole sizes only and run a bit on the larger size. Linking a few similar styles below as well.
This pair is sadly from last season and sold out everywhere. I actually ordered mine back in December on a mega sale and put them up for this year. However, the ones linked are extremely similar and give the same minimalistic look, which I love. The Zappos reviews aren’t great for some reason, but the reviews on Tory Burch’s site are wonderful. I linked the ones on Zappos because they’re fully stocked in all sizes and also on a huge sale. I have owned several pairs of Tory Burch shoes over the years and the quality is just so good. Her shoes last and hold up very well… I still have and wear my first pair of flats that my Mimi bought me 9 years ago… they’re in very good condition for their age. Again, these shoes just stand the test of time. Order a half size up in TB sandals.
If you’re like the minimalist look and want a good, quality flip flop at a lower price, I love TKEES as well. I’ve had several pairs of them over the past few years and they’re so great for summer! I order up a size in this brand.
I haven’t worn these out yet, but if I start having places to go again where I can dress up a bit, they’ll be at the top of my list. I love anything Marc Fisher, so I imagine the quality of these will not disappoint going off my previous experiences. The price point on these is great as well for a summer staple wedge. They’re available in few other colors, but are starting to sell out… act fast! Run TTS (I got my true size, 8).
I love this studded pair as well… a similar look and equally as cute! PS: Both of these styles are under $40!
You may recall seeing this pair last month on my Splurge vs. Save post. In my opinion, they’re like a hybrid sandal… not quite a wedge, not quite a flat. They’re very comfortable and can instantly add a touch of glam to a basic look (pair with a white tee and jeans). Mimicking a much more expensive Prada sandal, these are also a great look for less shoe. I ordered my true size, 8.
Another look for less shoe (a near identical dupe of the See by Chloé version) and one that can elevate any outfit. I think the cut out detailing is sweet and these are a fun option to wear with denim shorts, a blouse, and headband. They run TTS.
These are from a new-to-me brand and, y’all, there’s a lot to love about ’em. They’re practical, sustainable, and scented. Yes, scented! Imagine if a Croc and a Birkenstock had a baby… it would be these slides. They’re priced right at $40 and are wonderful for the pool, the beach, the yard, the house, casual outfits… all of it! Definitely size up, they run small. Mine are a 38/39.
What are your summer shoe staples? Let me know! xoxo.
