Hello sweet friends! My Binto Routine and Review post has been a long time coming, but I am so excited to finally share all things Binto with you today! I’ve tried out Binto for several months now and feel like I can give you my honest review and share my daily supplement routine. I actually had planned to post this a while ago but, for a few different reasons, my editorial calendar kept changing (2020 has been a heck of a year so far, am I right?! Especially in Nashville with all the crazy weather events on top of everything else. Tornadoes, Derechos… no more please!). All of that to say, I’m coming at you now with a full, in depth chat of my personal experience with Binto and all the details about this company that is changing the way to view and prioritize women’s health. Two words: BIG FAN. Let’s dive right in, shall we? PS: Make sure you don’t miss my promo code at the end of the post for 20% off if you want to order.
What is Binto?
Great question… I’m so glad you asked! Binto is a women’s health company founded by a Suzie Welsh (a health and fertility nurse) that is on mission to provide women with safe and effective over-the-counter products, as well as give access to communication with licensed medical professionals. Binto creates customized supplements tailored to your personal health journey based on your body’s needs. If you’re a woman, Binto can work for you no matter what stage of life you’re at by providing you with supplements for pregnancy, fertility, energy, hormonal support, gut health… the list goes on. Check out this page here (Binto 101)… there is an abundance of information for how Binto can support whatever stage of life you’re in.
How are the supplements are customized?
On the Binto website, you have the opportunity to take a survey with a few questions that allow team-members to recommend which supplements would be most beneficial for your current needs. After seeing your recommendations, if you have questions or want to make changes to your pack, you have access to communication with a nurse who can help make adjustments if necessary. Access to a licensed healthcare professional completely sets Binto apart from other companies in the supplement market. The vitamin and supplement world can be confusing, but having someone to talk to is wonderful if you need clarification.
What is different about these supplements?
This is one of my favorite things about the company. Binto prides itself in using high-quality ingredients and does not include preservatives and fillers in their products. All supplements are made in the U.S., GMP certified, gluten free, preservative and filler free, and vegan friendly. Their prenatal vitamin is formulated with methylated folate instead of the synthetic version of the vitamin, folic acid. Binto is transparent about their ingredients and sourcing, so you can feel good about your purchase and what you’re putting into your body. Read more about each supplement and ingredients here.
I touched on it above, but you also have access to communication with a licensed healthcare professional which is invaluable. You can email or live chat or even schedule a phone consult, whichever you prefer.
How do I receive my supplements?
After you take your survey and sign up, a packet of your recommended supplements is created and personalized with your name on it (I love this touch). Each packet contains the supplements recommended for you to take each day and a month’s worth of packets are packaged in a resealable zip-top bag. Every month, your supplements arrive at your door. No need to re-order when you run out, they come to you hassle free with your subscription. You can manage your shipments and pause or cancel your subscription if you decide this service is not for you.
My Binto Routine:
I have played around with when I take my supplements… I’ve taken them in the morning, taken them at night, and have even split them up. Lately, I’ve found that I like taking mine at night before bed. If you have B12 in your packet, you may want to take yours in the morning, as B12 is the energy booster and will help you kick off your day!
- Probiotic complete with a prebiotic blend for gut health, digestion, and mood.
- DHA Omega 3 a healthy fat to help with mental health, vision, stress, fatigue, and inflammation.
- Prenatal (x2) for prenatal nutrient support, energy, and hormonal balance. Also contains peppermint and ginger oil to fight morning sickness.
*When I first took my Binto survey, B12 was also recommended. I was a little overwhelmed starting with 5+supplements a day. I had a nurse review my packs and, since I was taking the prenatal containing B12, she said I was covered there and could drop the B12 if I wanted. Four supplements seemed a little more maneagable to start off with. You can always chat with a nurse and change your packets for coming months which is great (either add or reduce if needed/desired). Again, three cheers for a totally customizable routine!
*Before you jump to assuming I’m pregnant because I’m taking a prenatal, let me tell you myself that I am not haha! Did you know that taking a prenatal if you’re even thinking about becoming pregnant is a good thing? Before I had Bodie, I took a prenatal vitamin for several months before pregnancy, during pregnancy, and after birth while I was nursing. It’s important to take a prenatal not just when you’re pregnant, but during the time before and after baby as well. If you’re in your “child-bearing years” and thinking about starting your family in the next year or so, go ahead and start taking your prenatal.
PS: I’ve had no negative side-effects whatsoever from taking my supplements. I feel like a lot of times, vitamins and supplements are reported to cause nausea or other side-effects, but these have not given me any problems at all. I swallow one at a time with a glass of water and make sure I don’t take them on an empty stomach and am good to go no matter what time of day I take them.
After several months of taking these supplements, I can tell you without a doubt that I’m a huge fan of this company. The ease of the subscription process, access to healthcare professionals, and fully customizable routine make Binto a standout in the vitamin/supplement industry. They are on a mission to change the way we view women’s health and I think they’re doing a darn good job at it!
Go poke around the Binto website. There is so much useful information that I can’t even begin to cover as in depth (or as well) here. Also, their site is just plain pretty and worth browsing. At a time when health and self-care is at the forefront of our minds, there is no better time to invest in yourself by prioritizing your health. If you have any questions at all about my experience and thoughts, please do not hesitate to reach out to me… I’d love to chat about it. I also feel confident in saying Team Binto would be more than happy to chat and answer any questions you may have as well.
The Binto team was so sweet and gave me a code to share with y’all if you want to test things out for yourself. You can get 20% off your purchase with code KARISRAE at checkout.
I hope you’re doing well and taking care of yourself during this time. xoxo.
