The Momkindness CarryAll Tote Trio

October 16, 2019 in Baby, Fashion
Momkindness carryall trio tote

Who else feels like the “bag lady” on a daily basis? I think everyone in my family would have no problem confirming that I am constantly toting around a ton of stuff and that it’s only increased since having Bodie. While some of that is just a personal problem (Hi, I’m a habitual overpacker… nice to meet you), sometimes it’s a result from filling too many bags up that don’t have great organization. While I can’t promise that I’m going to completely eliminate all the excess I pack for trips, I can tell you that I’ve recently been introduced to a bag that is making the day-to-day a little easier and less “baggy” if you will. Insert the Momkindness CarryAll Tote Trio.

I shared this tote on Instagram last week (video showing the interior and organization here), but I wanted to dive a little deeper on the blog. This tote has three separate organizational components— the tote, the insert, and the diaper clutch. Both the tote and diaper clutch have long straps that you can attach or detach, whatever suits your fancy. Also, bonus points because this tote does not at all look like a diaper bag. In these pictures, I styled the bag just by using the drop shoulder straps, but I’ve since added on the long strap and like carrying the bag that way just as much.

In addition to how much we have been out of town lately, we’ve also been going on a few day trips and just some longer outings. This tote has been perfect because it allows me to carry my things, as well as Bodie’s, and not have to take multiple bags. I can fit my laptop, planner, and chargers, as well as my purse belongings (card case, phone, and keys) in the big tote and then I put Bodie’s things in the organizational insert. I mentioned on Instagram stories last week that the diaper clutch is probably my favorite thing about this bag. I just think it’s a genius idea. You can wear it alone (without the big tote) and it just looks like a crossbody. It will hold your phone, keys, and a couple of cards, as well as a couple of diapers and small wipe pack. It comes with a changing pad inside that matches the interior lining of the tote. If you’re a mama, you know that you don’t always need an entire bag full of tricks when you go out (especially when they’re past the newborn stage), but you’ll inevitably need to change a diaper. The diaper clutch was made for those days.

As much as I love this tote, I love what Momkindness stands for and promotes even more. With every purchase, they give back to Every Mother Counts which is a non-profit organization that works to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for women everywhere. I was shocked when I read a statistic that more than 800 women a day die from complications during childbirth. Too many women around the world just don’t have access to appropriate medical care during pregnancy and delivery. That truly saddens my heart, especially now that I am a mama myself. I am a firm believer in supporting companies that support causes that help others, especially ones that I have some sort of connection with. You can learn more about this amazing organization by visiting their site, www.everymothercounts.org.

This tote comes in two color options. Black (view here) and Gray/Brown (view here). Momkindness also offers additional straps for purchase if you want to spice up your look a little. You can use code KARIS15 for 15% off your purchase of $50 or more.

PS: I had a couple of messages from girls about potentially using this tote as a work or teacher bag even if not a mama. If you like organization (which most teachers do especially), this would be a great option for a work tote! You could even pull the diaper clutch out and save it for a baby shower gift.

xoxo.

[…] Let’s chat about backpack diaper bags for a minute, shall we? As (an almost) mom of two, I am all about being hands free. My toddler is busy, y’all… 2.5 is the age of being “on-the-move”… am I right?! With little brother due in just a couple of months, thinking about toting stuff for two to doctor appointments or to the grandparents’ houses (and keeping those necessities organized for in the car as well) was a bit daunting. I know so many girls who have preferred backpacks over traditional tote style diaper bags. I had two different tote diaper bags when Bodie when Bodie was a baby, one of them being the Momkindness Carry-All Tote Trio (find my thoughts on that bag here). […]
