Today’s post is all about my favorite and best baby buys from Amazon. You may recall my“New-Mom Must-Haves” post back in January. Since I keep receiving questions and great feedback about that post, I thought it might be worthwhile to share my favorite baby buys available from Amazon. There is a little overlap in the two posts, but the first was geared more toward younger babies, especially things necessary for (parental) survival in the early months, and it included things from retailers other than Amazon, too.
The prices on Amazon are great, but the convenience of Amazon Prime delivery is key. If you have a little one, you know how wonderful it is to have things delivered to your door, as compared to loading, unloading and then entertaining your child while rushing through a store to pick up your essentials. I love sharing things that have worked for us and hope you can find something new here that will be a great addition to your daily routine. If you don’t have a little one, many of these items are also great, functional gifts for a mama-to-be.
One: These spoons are seriously the best! They’re BPA free, food based silicone and are perfect for rubbing against baby’s delicate gums (especially when teething) while feeding. One pack gives you several different colors and they hold up wonderfully. The silicone makes them easy for baby to grip and you can’t beat the price.
Two: Bodie has several pairs of these mocs. The quality is fantastic and they don’t break the bank compared to some of the others on the market. Lots of color options are available and they work for baby boys and girls.
Three: Every baby has a different preference on pacis, but we have used MAM from the beginning and just continue to go up in size (age). The big rubber ones never worked for us. The new and trendy ones are definitely cute, but not very well received in my experience (personal and talking with friends). I love that MAM makes glow-in-the-dark ones, which are obviously perfect for nighttime. Also, the Amazon prices are definitely better than purchasing in store.
Four: We love these suction bowls because they actually stick to the surface you put them on. There are three sizes in a pack and having a lid is so convenient for keeping little snacks secure if we’re on the go.
Five: Favorite bibs for a food-eating baby. Whether your baby is only eating purees or is on to more solid foods, these bibs are the best. They catch all the little goodies that are left behind and are big enough to actually cover clothes. They’re not tight and uncomfortable like some of the plastic or rubber bibs and these can go in the washing machine and dryer which is a blessing haha.
Six: This pool float is amazing! My mother-in-law purchased this and it’s so good for babies of different ages. Some baby pool floats are a little scary as they don’t seem to really provide much support and can deflate easily. This one is air-free and gives excellent support. I’ll post a picture of Bodie in his down below.
Seven: Kyte Baby makes the softest baby-wear. These hats come in a pack of three and multiple colors. They’re perfect for both baby boys and girls during the colder months. They also don’t pill after going through the wash.
Eight: Remember this bouncer I used to rave about? I will still attest to that being the best 20 dollars I’ve ever spent on Bodie. When he outgrew it, I knew I wanted to get something similar and now we have the one pictured above. It is designed to work for a young baby all the way through toddlerhood. It has a kickstand if you want it to be stationary or is a rocker for added movement. There’s a vibrating feature and removable toy bar. Definitely worth the 30-40 dollars (depending on which pattern you choose) to be able to use for several years.
Nine: We love this fan. It wraps easily around any bar or hood on a stroller or on the handle of a carseat. It can also stand up anywhere thanks to the tripod design. It’s available in black, aqua, and pink.
Ten: These pacifier/teether clips are wonderful and double as a teether themselves. They can be placed in the dishwasher or in your sterilizer. Bodie chews on these as much as he does the actual teether that I attach to it.
Eleven: We have used these since the day Bodie came home from the hospital and I don’t see me discontinuing use until he’s out of diapers. He has a “cutesy” cover on his changing pad, but we have several of these and lay them on top. It keeps the cover itself clean and these are easy to change out on top without redoing the whole pad. They’re also great to keep in a diaper bag for on-the-go diaper changes.
Twelve: This play mat comes in several different prints and each one is reversible with two cute patterns. I like that Bodie can play on it now and can drive little cars around the streets when he gets a bit older. This mat is also bigger than a lot of the others that are on the market, yet it folds up easily and is super lightweight for traveling.
Thirteen: There’s a reason Fisher Price has been around forever… their toys are a tried and true part of baby/kiddo playtime. Bodie has several toys from Fisher Price and loves them all. The prices on Amazon are better than in store and you can often get them bundled. I’ll link a few more of his favorites down below.
Fourteen: Another Bumkins product. These plates are durable and perfect for feeding time. They wash up easily (can go in the dishwasher) and actually stick to high chair trays. They come in several different colors and shapes. We’ve also recently tried these plates by PandaEar. They are almost identical to the Bumkins brand and a even a few dollars cheaper. Can you tell I’m a huge fan of silicone mealtime products?
Fifteen: Burt’s Bees organic cotton jammies come in lots of prints and are great for play and/or sleep. Amazon has a huge variety.
Sixteen: These little containers are perfect for storing baby food. BPA free and you can keep things neat and organized via the color coded lids.
Here are a few more Amazon baby favorites:
Truth be told, I also order diapers and formula from Amazon on the regular as well. It really is a one stop shop. Let me know if you have any baby favorites from Amazon that I should know about. PS: Bodie is seven days away from being one year old and I’m feeling all the emotions. Send advice on how to get through the nostalgia and happy/sad days to come. xoxo.
