Mother’s Day is right around the corner, so today I thought I would share some cute and thoughtful gifts in case you need a little inspiration. Any of these gifts would be great for your mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, or a friend that is a mom-to-be.
ONE: This bag is so cute for summer. The initials are such a fun touch. At just $34, this is a darling gift. Beach trip, anyone?
TWO: These pajamas are insanely soft and I don’t know of any females that don’t like a good pair of pajamas to lounge around in. I have this exact pair (I wore at the hospital after having Bodie) and can speak to the quality. The navy is also so classy.
THREE: Y’all know I love Scout Bags and I use my Deano tote all the time. It hold so much stuff and is perfect to throw random things in on your way out of town. It would also make a great lake and beach tote for the summer. Highly recommend this bag.
FOUR: These are more of a splurge item (although several colors are currently on sale), but how lovely are they? I have a few pair of Tory Burch shoes and they really hold up over the years. Because of that, I think they are worth the investment. If you’re buying for a shoe lover, you can’t go wrong with these leather slides!
FIVE: Currently on a huge Kendra Scott over kick. Gold hoops are a timeless piece of jewelry that should be a staple in every woman’s wardrobe. Aren’t these lovely for a staple piece? Don’t you think these would be a great replacement to my worn out pair of gold hoops that aren’t very gold anymore, Luke? Secretly hoping my hubby reads this post in the next several days haha.
SIX: Every mama needs a little pampering. This scrub smells like a dream and will have skin feeling silky smooth. It’s also safer beauty and free from all the junk that is in a lot of body scrubs on the market. You can read this post here to see how I feel about that!
SEVEN: Women have jewelry. Women travel. (Most) Women like a monogram. This kills 3 birds with one stone. I seriously love this for a jewelry holder. It comes in three colors, it so dainty, and would hold all of the staples and sentimental jewelry pieces.
EIGHT: I have a couple of these frames and love them. They are so beautiful and come with a mat. How sweet would it be to print some pictures of you and your mom together? Y’all already know I’m picture obsessed, so I think this is a fabulous gift. Sharing memories is always so special.
NINE: For the one who loves flowers and gardening. This pitcher comes in four different colors and in true southern fashion, you can monogram it!
TEN: These totes really stand the test of time and come in lots of different color and personalization options. We actually had one of these made for my MIL for Christmas and had her grandmother name, ZeZe, put on it. It was so fun to see her carry it in the house when she came down for a visit.
ELEVEN: I previously shared my love for Kendra Scott. One of the reasons I love her pieces is because of the customization that can be done. Have you ever been in one of her stores and played at the Color Bar? It’s so fun to customize you’re jewels. This bracelet is just one example of customizing a piece from her charms collection (I’m linking to the charms page so you can play around with creating your own). Bodie had these made for each grandmother back at Christmas. One charm is his birthstone and the other was a specific charm that related to each grandmother. The options are endless and you can make bracelets, necklaces, and earrings with all different colors and charms. Such a special and sentimental piece.
TWELVE: This would be perfect for the mom-to-be. It’s a five year journal where you can just write down one little sentence a day about whatever memory you want to hold onto. How neat to look back over the years and remember things you probably never would if you hadn’t have put your pen to paper for a quick 2 minutes.
THIRTEEN: Custom recipe dish towels. I mean how stinkin’ adorable are these? You send a picture of a family recipe in and they turn it into a custom dish towel for the kitchen. This may be a southern thing, but this is just about the most precious thing I have ever seen. Perfect for the lady who loves to cook or be in the kitchen.
FOURTEEN: This little book is so sweet to fill out and give to your mama. I did this last year for my mom and she absolutely loved it. She loves to flip through it especially when she’s missing me or is having a rotten day. Gifts like these are honestly the best.
FIFTEEN: More Beautycounter because it’s that good. This little travel set is perfect for the mom on-the-go. It has all your little body essentials with a citrus mimosa scent and comes in an ivory gifting box. And again, it’s safer beauty!
SIXTEEN: Anything Susan Gordon Pottery gets my vote, but this little jewelry dish is darling. I love the gold detailing and heart shape.
Personalized jewelry is also always a great option. I have a “Bodie” necklace and am so obsessed with it. I wear it almost every day. You can find that necklace here (I have “gold no crystals”). Whether you’re personalizing a piece with the name of a child, a grandmother’s name, just initials, or simply “mama”, here are a few pieces that I love (most are well under $100):
If you’re buying for the entertainer or homebody, make sure to check out these fun finds (fabulous price point on most of these pieces):
Finally, a great gift option (really the best gift option) is giving to those in need in honor of a loved one. Last year, I gave a newborn care package in honor of my mom through Compassion International. My mom always taught me the value in helping others and showing Christ’s love. This seemed like a very small way I could help those in need and honor my mama at the same time. You can see more ways to give by looking at the Compassion International Gift Catalog.
xoxo.
