Allow me to introduce you to this new oversized, chenille sweater that I can’t stop wearing. Y’all, I’ve seriously been wearing this thing on repeat since I received it last week. As a new mom who doesn’t have much time to get herself ready (or do much else, for that matter), I have loved how easy and versatile this sweater is for creating different looks. I wore it Friday afternoon and night, and Sunday afternoon and night—here’s the best part: I styled it differently each time, getting four different looks out of it in just one weekend!
This sweater has lots going for it:
- The Fit: It’s oversized, meaning it’s perfect for hiding how much food most of us are eating over the next month or so… Ha! I love a good oversized piece because I feel like I have options with how to wear it, such as: wearing it half-tucked with jeans for a casual look (like I styled here); wearing it with lounge leggings and Uggs for a cozy night in; or wearing it with leather leggings and heeled booties (or over-the-knee boots) for a dinner date.
- The Material: This sweater is a chunky, chenille material, meaning it is much softer than similar-looking fine knit pieces. That makes this piece unbelievably soft and comfortable to wear. Also, chenille is super on-trend right now. That combination is a big part of what makes this sweater so great for staying in and going out—you’re snug-as-a-bug if you stay in and super comfortable if you go out. That’s a win/win in my book.
- The Color: This sweater comes in three different colors: pink, tan, and black. I especially love this pink one because it gives me a pop of color without overpowering the rest of my outfit. This shade of pink reminds me of a muted cranberry color, which is a great choice for fall and winter.
- The Sale: This sweater is currently on sale for under $35 which is a steal for any piece that will give you as much wear as this one will.
