When I first found out I was pregnant, I told myself that, when the time came to buy maternity clothes, I would try and only buy a few staple pieces. For the most part, I feel like I have stuck to my plan. I’ve been able to continue wearing many of my non-maternity tops, dresses, jumpsuits, and regular swimsuits, so that has helped a lot. Bottoms are where I had to purchase the most pieces, but have kept that fairly under control— a few pairs of jeans to rotate, 1 pair of denim shorts, a pair of over-the-bump black leggings, overalls (long and short ones), and about 3 different pairs of workout crops/leggings. I have purchased a few maternity dresses, but I honestly think I will be able to keep wearing many of them even after I have Little Man based on some of the styles I selected. I’ve also been gifted a couple of items that have been wonderful additions to my pregnancy wardrobe. A few people have asked me where I shop for maternity clothes, so I thought I would share where I’ve made my purchases and highlight a few favorite pieces I’ve picked up along the way.
1. ASOS
Hands down my favorite. I love ASOS even when I’m not pregnant, but it’s such a great resource for maternity wear as well. They have a huge selection in every category you can think of. Any maternity dresses I have purchased have come from here (unfortunately, some are no longer available online and I can’t link them for you). They also have such great basics. For example, some of the tanks are as low as 6 dollars and their v-necks are between 10-15. My “Le Bump” tee came from ASOS, as well as the black jumpsuit that was in this post and our gender reveal post. My favorite thing about ASOS— on trend clothing that doesn’t break the bank. Their shipping is also super fast and returns are free (I generally order multiple sizes and just ship back what doesn’t work).

2. A Pea in the Pod / Motherhood Maternity
I’ve gotten most of my basic bottoms from here… denim shorts, jeans, and the most comfy pair of star print joggers. My overalls came from Motherhood Maternity which is actually a sister company to A Pea in the Pod. Their panties are great also… definitely something I did not expect to buy in the maternity department, but honestly these makes a huge difference (underwear that rolls down all the time is no dice). Bonus points because Motherhood Maternity and A Pea in the Pod are now sold through Macy’s as well.

3. PinkBlush
I discovered this online shop back in May and ordered a navy jumpsuit. I seriously wear it at least once a week if not more (kind of bananas that I don’t have a picture in it) and tell Luke all the time that it was maybe the best 50 dollars I’ve ever spent haha. It’s so comfy and can be dressed up or down. I was fortunate enough to collaborate with PinkBlush over the past few weeks and, since then, I’ve been super impressed with their selection of maternity dresses. This post from last Thursday highlighted a dress that I’m currently obsessed with and it is baby shower perfection. My favorite thing about PinkBlush— trendy clothing and a wide variety of styles across multiple categories (maternity, nursing, non-maternity, plus, and baby/toddler). It’s a one-stop shop.

4. Gap (GapFit)
Gap is my favorite place to shop for maternity activewear. These crops and these leggings have been my go-tos this summer. I have found the quality of the maternity activewear to be really good, the sizing to be accurate, and Gap almost always have a sale running. You can read more about my favorite GapFit Maternity wear and my pregnancy workout routine in this post.
3 other key maternity purchases I’ve made:
*These Jeans from Nordstrom
*These leggings from Nordstrom Rack
*These tanks from Target
There you have it. That’s just about all of the maternity wear I have. Of course a few things have sold out and I couldn’t link or I don’t have pictures in everything, but this covers the majority. I hope this post was helpful. Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions about fit and sizing. If you’re pregnant or a mama, where have you shopped most for your maternity wear? xoxo.
