I’ve always been ALL ABOUT rompers and jumpsuits and, as they’ve continued to become more and more popular over the years, I’ve acquired quite a little collection. Not only are all of these styles super on trend, most are beyond comfortable (in my opinion). Now that I’m styling a bump, comfort is even more of a priority than it used to be. So far, jumpsuits have been a great way for me to stay comfortable without sacrificing style… at least when I’m going out in public haha. My home uniform, however, now that can be a different story depending on when you catch me (husband’s old sweat pants and an XL t-shirt… guilty!).
The jumpsuit I styled today is right under $30 dollars making it a great buy for all kinds of spring and summer events. Aren’t the colors so playful and fun? This piece also has a stretchy, smocked panel on the back and adjustable straps. The wide legs and looser body also make this non-maternity jumpsuit perfect for a growing bump.
Another thing I’m all about is a good bag. I have several designer bags that I love and are closet staples, but when it comes to seasonal and trendier pieces, I tend to gravitate towards a good dupe or snatch something that’s on a major sale. I would so much rather invest in a designer bag that I can carry with anything the majority of the year, than spend a ton of money on an adorable, but trendy, little bag that may only be in style for 1-2 years. That being said, I still enjoy adding a couple of “on trend” purses to my wardrobe each year.
You may be sick to death of seeing this wooden bag (it has seriously been all over social media) but, personally, I am still so obsessed with it. I can’t think of a better piece to accessorize with in the spring and summer than this one. While the designer version of this bag will cost you upwards of $150, depending on which size you choose, this one is seriously an EXACT dupe for only $40. Luke told me he was glad I didn’t spend my money on the real one because, and I quote, “that’s not a purse, it’s a slatted, wooden box.” Although I disagree with that description, I definitely agree with not spending the money on the real deal.
Hope you have a great weekend! My parent’s are getting into town today and we have our gender reveal party on Saturday with our family and a few close friends that live in town. I’m so giddy about it. EEEEEKKK. Come back next week to find out what we’re having. xoxo.
